Did you know that one of the greatest films of all time was shot on location in January in Salem Oregon? One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest starring Jack Nicholson, shot at the Oregon State Hospital on Center St. NE won 5 Academy awards including Best Picture and Best Actor. The film was adapted from a novel of the same name by Ken Kesey. If you have not seen this movie, it should be the next one on your list. What's amazing to me is that the State Hospital is an open campus. You can walk around the historic grounds and see what is going on there.
